These two disciplines Fasting and Muscle Building seem at first glance to be mutually exclusive; I mean what possible relation could there be between muscle building and fasting? Doesn’t fasting deplete your energy; make you lightheaded, devoid of energy and more?
And what of muscle building? Is this an activity that by its very nature requires great stores of energy and stamina? So how and why can or should these two seemingly disparate activities coexist? There is a way, and the reasons for using them in this combination may well surprise you, but I promise, will make perfect sense in the end.
There is one scenario where fasting and muscle building can and do make sense together, and that would be for someone who is striving to implement a program designed to maximize fat loss while at the same time developing a strong, well-defined frame.
There is something of a delicate balance to be struck here, and this would not make sense for someone who’s stated aim is to build a large, bulky frame. This is more for the person who is trying to create a classic physique, one that is defined by a classic “V” shape, that being a broad set of shoulders tapering down to a trim waist, with a well-defined chest and abs in between.
How to Combine Fasting And Muscle Building With Intermittent Fasting
Obviously, the fasting element helps in the fat loss portion of this program, and the best way to accomplish this is with intermittent fasting.
This type of fasting is the practice of completing one or two 24 hour fasts during a week, consisting only of water, and then eating sensibly the rest of the week. This enables you to cut your caloric intake dramatically, giving you a huge leg up in your quest to shed unwanted fat.
This combined with a specific set of workouts designed to enhance the type of physique we’ve been talking about lead to the kind of results we’re ultimately seeking: a classically proportioned male frame able to not only be attractive to the opposite s*x, but to command respect and exercise social dominance wherever it chooses. How does it do this, you ask? Think about it.
Is Intermittent Routine Suitable With Fasting And Muscle Building
We’ve all seen how heads turn and impressions are formed when someone who has obviously taken great care of themselves walks into a room. Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, that person not only has everyone’s attention, but likely will be given the benefit of the doubt in any given situation, whether they deserve it or not.
The only program I’ve found where you can combine fasting and this type of muscle building program is a program called the “Adonis Index” workout. The Adonis Index workout works on a centuries old mathematical equation that can bring these types of results with proper implementation.
It works with each man, using his height and current measurements as a baseline to get him where he wants to go. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in looking into for yourself, then check out my other posts.
