It’s a bad misconception that eating no carb snacks means you aren’t eating healthy. This is far from the truth. In fact, if you eat a natural diet, especially adding more raw foods, you are not only eating the carbs and nutrients you need but you’re getting a good caloric intake as well.
I know there are a lot of people out there who have not tried to eat the no carb snacks way for a variety of reasons: it’s hard to give up bread and pasta but it’s also not a bit expensive.
I know all of these are true, but if you do decide to give up the carbs for a while, here are a few ideas for snacking so that you won’t feel as hungry.
How To Make No Carb Snacks
Roast a small chicken, and keep it in the refrigerator for picking and snacking. I find this is great for everyone in the house, too.
I often will remove all of the meat from the bones and put it in Tupperware. I also use the leftover chicken for super quick chicken salad.

Make pastrami, turkey or roast beef. I take a few pieces of lunch meat, lay them on foil and top them with a little sauerkraut (or cold slaw), Swiss cheese and boil it under low heat for about ten minutes. Top it with a little thousand island dressing and you’ll never know the bread is not there. Pop a few raw nuts, eat a little pepperoni or snack on cheese.
If you have hard boiled eggs in the fridge, this is a pretty inexpensive way to always have a snack around as well, and if you want, you can mash them up with a little mayo and voila! You have egg salad. Eggs are not only low in sodium, but they have numerous other health benefits. Our eyes receive more nutrients from an egg than any other source. All nine essential amino acids are contained in just one egg. Vitamin D naturally occurs in eggs, giving us the much needed vitamin that our bodies need to function. Eggs are invaluable to eyesight. Some studies have shown that people who eat eggs daily lower the risk of developing cataracts.

Though, they are not really low carb, but everyone needs a treat every now and then to also succeed on any diet pan. I think it’s better to have this kind of treat, rather than blowing your sugar level on a candy bar!
